#NYFW Spring 2016 Obsessions

I have yet to make it to a New York Fashion Week. I’ll continue to dream of attending until one day I make that dream come true. For now, I’ll keep up with fashion week through social media and the internet. Even though I didn’t attend any shows, I definitely have some lines that I am already obsessing over and cannot wait to see hit the stores in Spring. See my obsessions below.

Everything about this is just brilliant. I adore the lace details, the colonial cuts, and the sexy sheer paneling. Not to mention the colors and the floral print. Zimmerman has me absolutely drooling and dreaming of getting my hands on one of these beautiful dresses.

The colors Tory Burch used for this season are beautiful, bright, and bold. I love how the colors give off a bit of a retro feel. Once again, I’m dying over the use of lace. I have a feeling we will see a lot of beautiful lace in spring 2016. I loved every single piece from this show, which it made it really hard to select which ones to highlight.

The Ulla Johnson collection consisted of a mostly soft-neutral color pallette which I loved. This show, along with many others, proved that fringe is here to stay for at least a little while longer. This is perfectly okay with me because I’ve always loved fringe. I’m obsessed with the unstructured, bohemian feel of these beautiful dresses and slouchy pants.

Feminine and beautiful. Those are the two words that come to mind when trying to describe the Carolina Herrera show. This show made a strong argument for pink being the color of the season. Once again, the sheer paneling adds a little sex appeal, but each look still gives off a classy and girly vibe. Totally drool-worthy.

Of course, there were other shows that really caught my eye (namely Lauren Conrad’s first show, Rachel Zoe, and Jason Wu), but these 4 really stuck out to me. What were some of your favorites from NYFW?

Spring 2014 Part 2

There was so much that I loved from New York Fashion week that I just couldn’t put it all in one post. So, here are three more collections that I’m googly-eyed over.

Nicole Miller Spring 2014

I love the leather accents in the Nicole Miller Spring 2014 collection. These clothes look like so much fun and make me want to go out and hit the town. Although the colors don’t exactly scream “spring” and “summer” I am loving every single piece. The shoes are also to die for and I can just hope that I can lay my hands on some of this in 2014.

Rachel Zoe Spring 2014

Rachel Zoe has a fantastic eye for fashion and even though her collection has a lot of different aspects, I really love what she has come up with! I am especially crazy about the sequin looks. They were just amazing- so glitzy but laid back at the same time!

Alice + Olivia Spring 2014

Alice + Olivia brought a fresh, girlish, and chic collection to New York Fashion Week. I love the structure of the pieces, especially the white top above. The clutches are adorable and would make the perfect finish to any outfit!

Spring 2014

I dream every year about attending New York Fashion Week. Literally, dreams on dreams about sitting along the runway, bouncing my foot to the beat of the music, and watching the beautiful clothes passing by me as I drool. I am so thankful for the internet, because it makes my life much easier. I can stalk the more fortunate who get to attend all of the shows. This year, pinterest and Instagram have made it even more fun for me.

I’ve done plenty of internet browsing throughout fashion week and I’ve got to say, there are some fabulous things coming our way in the spring and summer of 2014. Below, I picked my four favorite collections so far that I really want to get my hands on this year.

Mara Hoffman Spring 2014

Mara Hoffman really blows me away. I mean, over and over again I find myself falling in love with her fabulous prints. It looks like spring 2014 will be no exception. I saw these pieces and I wanted to jump up and down squealing and clapping. I wanted them now. Forget the fact that I said I’m ready for fall- now I’m ready for SPRING! The rainbow colored maxis, pants, and shorts will surely be a sight for sore eyes after a long cold winter. (If we can make it that long)

Diane Von Furstenburg Spring 2014

DVF went wild this year for fashion week. She is such a perfect fashion icon and I don’t believe she can ever do any wrong. If you can look away from the fantastic dresses, shorts, and skirts, you’ll notice that the shoes are equally fantastic.

Whitney Eve Spring Summer 2014

Whitney Port is still what I would call a young and fresh name in the fashion industry, but I would also say that she’s only going to get better with time. I’d love to score some of these pieces for myself. Especially her shorts. Yes, please!

Rebecca Minkoff Spring 2014{images via}

From braided head to knee-high heels with peeking toes, I love everything about the Rebecca Minkoff show and I mean everything.
